About the Job :
The Roads and Traffic Authority of NSW (RTA) has been responsible for the development and construction of many major infrastructure projects across New South Wales.
Current projects include upgrades of:
Great Western Highway
Cowpasture Road
Hoxton Park Road
F3 and F5
Victoria Road
Alfords Point Bridge
Strategic Bus Corridor Program
Opportunities now exist for Project / Contract Managers in the Major Infrastructure and Regional Operations and Engineering Services Directorates.
As a Project / Contract Manager you will be responsible for developing and/or delivering infrastructure or other projects in accordance with
time, cost, quality and scope objectives.
Salary Package up to $117k

Profile of Ideal Candidate :
To be successful you will need:
A four year engineering degree from an Australian University or equivalent overseas qualifications.
Proven experience in managing major infrastructure or other complex projects, with a good knowledge of either project implementation,
including contract management, or project development.
Good knowledge of the technical aspects of materials, equipment and techniques used in road and bridge construction, and demonstrated
experience in implementation of Quality assurance systems, stakeholder involvement, OH&S, risk and environmental management
strategies.
Proven ability as an effective manager, with demonstrated experience in motivation, liaison, negotiation, consultation, community involvement, conflict resolution and in managing multi-disciplinary teams. |
