About the Job :
Salary / Rate: GBP 25,000.00-38,000.00

Our client is currently looking for an experienced Process and/or Senior Process Engineer to join their water / wastewater team based in Cambridgeshire. The successful candidate will join an existing team of Process Engineers completing design work for potable and wastewater treatment plants. Applicants should hold a Degree in Chemical Engineering and have 3-4 years relevant design experience (5 year+ for the Senior Process role) of potable water and/or waste water treatment facilities. This design experience must include the production of process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), control philosophies, plant hydraulics, pump and equipment sizing and specification, HAZOPS, commissioning strategies and explosion risk assessments (DSEAR, ATEX directives etc). |

Profile of Ideal Candidate :
You will be expected to take the lead in both the conceptual and detailed process engineering design phases of projects varying from single site process
optimisation/refurbishment contracts to large multi-million pound design build and operate contracts. You will also provide technical support to our
commissioning team.
Key Skills
Good general knowledge of all aspects of water treatment, e.g. mechanical engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering and project management
Ability to rationalise designs and produce economic process designs
A flexible mind, with the ability to assimilate large amounts of different
data at one time
Ability to present technical proposals clearly, confidently and convincingly
Some experience of surge analysis or network modelling would be an advantage but not essential. |
