Senior Electrical Engineer / Electrical Engineer - DUBAI - International Consultancy
The company is an International Construction Consultancy and is currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join the team in Dubai.
The company offer award winning architectural design, progressive infrastructure engineering and award winning project and construction management known for quality and professionalism.
The Role:
As the Senior Electrical Engineer your day to day duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Review, approve and process all electrical technical submittals.
- Review & approve Contractor's shop drawings, in compliance with IFC drawings, Project specification and National and International standards.
- Review, approve and process all electrical material submittals and samples for compliance to the Project specification.
- Review contractor's correspondence related to electrical works. Prepare appropriate response when necessary for the Resident Engineer's review.
- Review contractor's electrical change order proposals. Prepare recommendations to Resident Engineer for review. If warranted, assist in negotiations with contractors regarding changes in contract value or project duration.
- Review contractors' claims related to electrical works. Prepare recommendations for claims approval or rejection. Assist in negotiations with contractors regarding the value of claims or changes in schedules.
- Witness testing and commissioning of the works.
- Approve the contractors' as-built drawings and O&M manual submittals.
- Liaise on a technical basis with the Resident Engineers.
As the Senior Electrical Engineer you should expect a very competitive salary, dependant on skills and experience.
* Circa 20,000 - 30,000 AED per month + Competitive benefit package.

Profile of Ideal Candidate :
To apply for this position, you will have:
* A minimum of 8 years relevant experience
* A minimum of 2 years experience working for a Consultancy
* Relevant Engineering qualification / membership
* Previous experience in the Middle East
