Description : Our client, a large EPC based in Surrey are searching for a Certification Engineer to join their team.
Certification Engineer
Job Purpose:
To co-ordinate the RoK certification process of the Karachaganak Phase III FEED Project from Vendors through PEC and hence final delivery to KGK. This job will entail good interpersonal skills with interaction with the QA inspectors to ensure on time delivery of the RoK Certification Dossiers, Certificate of Conformance and RoK Technical Passports for equipment and materials procured for the Phase III development comply with certification requirements in RoK
Main responsibilities:
Review of the preparation of RoK certification dossiers (RoK TP) by Manufactures/Suppliers,
Day to Day Interface with Client Certification Engineer
Develop RoK Certification Dossier matrices, Instructions and Guidelines for suppliers and contractors. Participation in clarification meetings with vendors and its suppliers.
Ensuring that RoK Certification requirements are adequately covered in all commercial documentation issued to potential contractors and its suppliers
Day to day monitoring of the progress and timeliness of the certification process including the process implemented by suppliers and contractors.
Conducting of audits with QA/QC inspectors of Contractor
Development and maintenance of databases to hold information on Measuring Equipment Database and RoK Certificates
Development and maintenance of RoK Certification Schedules and reconciliation with overall project schedule.
Acting as a focal point for all communication related to RoK certification between Company and Vendors.
Monitoring RoK legislative base to ensure full compliance with the latest rules and regulations in RoK.

Profile of Ideal Candidate :
Education:
Engineering/technical degree
Required Experience
At least 5 years experience in a variety of oil and gas project activities related to RoK equipment and materials certification.
Experience in compliance, monitoring / auditing role
Extensive experience of successful negotiations with RoK regulators
knowledge of RoK regulatory framework for oil field practice
knowledge of RoK regulations and standards applicable to certification of equipment and materials
fluent in English and. Russian language skills would be a distinct advantage
computer literate on Microsoft Office
