About the Job :
to work as Patent Examiners at its offices in Munich (DE), Berlin (DE) and The Hague (NL) in the fields of:
- Power converters(DC/DC, DC/AC, AC/AC)
- Dynamo-electric machines, likes motors, generators, converters, dynamo-electric brakes, clutches, gears and their control and regulation
- Electric cables, communication cables
- Electric switches, electromagnetic relays, selector switches
- Protection of electric lines or machines, emergency protection devices, circuit breakers
- Casings, cabinets for electric devices, printed circuits
- Cellular positioning systems
- Radio positioning systems including GNSS like GPS, Galileo etc
- Control and automation like adaptive, numerical or robotics control |

Profile of Ideal Candidate :
Your profile:
- national of an EPO member state
- a full university degree in engineering or science
- good knowledge in one or more of the following fields: electronics, electricity, power electronics and/or electro-mechanics
- good working knowledge of at least two of the EPO official languages (English, French and German) and willingness to learn the third before starting work as an examiner
- Work experience in industry is not essential, but would be an advantage.
