About the Job :
Objective: The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an ability for high quality deliverables working as part of a team of specialists, to often tight deadlines.
Main responsibilities : It is expected that the chosen professionals will be able to demonstrate an understanding of security and networking technologies, and work to often tight deadlines, across numerous simultaneous projects, in a very dynamic environment
Reporting to: The position reports to the Technology Risk Solutions Director.
Subordinates: Depends on experience and skills
Other interactions: Customer interaction
Number required: 5-8
Duration: Permanent contract (subject to 6 month probation)
Desired start date: immediately
Probation: 6 month probation
Working hours: 40 hours per week
Travel requirements: occassional travel overseas (not exceeding 30-40 % of time)
Gross monthly base salary: Euros 1.400 to Euros 2.300 or more subject to qualifications and experience
Commission / Bonus: Discretionary (ie non-contractual) annual cash bonus scheme
Other Benefits: Up to 5 days "classroom-training" p.a. , 20 days annual leave, Non-contributory Medical Scheme, Provident Fund, Travelling allowances, Expense reimbursement |

Profile of Ideal Candidate :
An ability and willingness to travel within and outside Cyprus is a must as are strong references (academic and professional).
The role assumes a minimum of three years experience in a similar capacity within an IT environment.
The position requires a confident and experienced professional with an ability to work in a dynamic environment as part of a team of highly focused security engineers and consultants
Understanding of the technical security implications and needs for Windows NT/2000/2003/xp, Linux, Solaris operating systems
• Good understanding of networking design principles and protocols (e.g. TCP/IP, IPv4 and preferably IPv6)
• Good understanding of Layer 2, Layer 3 and Layer 4-7 networking concepts
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to deliver high quality and client focused deliverables
• Proficiency in written and oral English
• Hands-on experience in implementation and/or operation of one or more security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, anti-virus and content filtering, url filtering, authentication solutions
• Certifications in any of Internet Security Systems, Check Point, and/or CISCO technologies will be considered a significant advantage. |
