About the Job :
As a Purchasing Manager you will be developing and implementing the Company's sourcing strategies to buy goods and services that support our multi-million dollar businesses. Your responsibilities will start with managing a variety of projects related to purchasing in different spending pools, as per the needs of our different departments: Marketing, Customer Marketing, Logistics, Work-Place Services, Human Resources, Public Relations, etc.. You will interact with different people at all levels and from most of the departments, as well as with various suppliers, located either in Romania or abroad.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure best overall value in purchasing various goods and services
• Work across the organization to ensure the purchasing standards are always met
• Supervise the operation of the purchasing systems, assure data integrity and maintenance of the appropriate documentation
• Lead different sourcing projects
• Perform contract management (ensure contractual terms are met, including service level respect, ensure contract renewal, etc.)
• Perform supplier management (lead pre-inquiry and clarification meetings, plan and perform negotiations, monitor suppliers' performance, etc.)
• Deliver savings commitments

Profile of Ideal Candidate :
Key Skills Requirements:
• University degree
• Good command of spoken and written English
• Strong collaboration skills (ability to build and maintain productive working relationships in stressful conditions, including the ability to work effectively in multifunctional teams)
• Strong leadership (be able to set aggressive goals for self, work group and project team and them enrolling, energizing and enabling them to deliver; be able to take stretching, informed risks to deliver breakthrough results; be able to work effectively in an ambiguous environment that has unusual problems that require creative solutions)
• Very good analytical thinking and innovation skills
• Excellent communication (both written and oral) and a customer-oriented attitude: commitment to answer requests and solve problems
• Capacity (able to manage multiple priorities, including personally managing projects; highly responsive and reliable in meeting deadlines in a quality way)
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel)
