Job Description
The EMEA Region IP Center will serve as a focal point for IP core tactical processes and service delivery. The Region IP Center will provide value to our IP by meeting the following objectives:
1) simplify the consumer experience by deploying Regional and Global processes standards;
2) deliver operational cost savings to the company by providing economies of scale and process efficiency; and
3) build and retain IP core tactical process knowledge.
Processes that will be evaluated for the EMEA Region IP Center include the following: mid-touch and high touch risk assessment and order management, business controls compliance, validation of purchase requisition against contract, payment terms compliance, PO creation, supplier and end-user communication, IP core tactical program administration.
Key Responsibilities
Manages the delivery, consumer satisfaction, and business controls compliance associated with EMEA mid-and-high touch IP Operations activity. Complies with country, regional, and/or global standards (policies, guidelines, and processes) to support our IP mid/high touch Operations activities. Co-ordinates with business partners on delivery solutions for our consumers. Identifies and initiates changes required to support emerging business needs/strategies. Demonstrates operational expertise and sound judgment regarding owned procurement activities. Ensures compliance with procurement, legal, financial and business controls. Initiates and takes independent action to accomplish goals. Removes obstacles and drives fundamental change to achieve efficiencies in support of IPˇ¦s Operations strategies.
- Leads the EMEA Regional Indirect Procurement Center and operates within established business controls and performance measures.
- Manages employees and contractor performance associated with mid/high touch work
- Develops training and performance plans for direct staff and supports a high performance workplace
- Proposes and leads implementation of improved process, workflow and delivery models for mid/high touch work, in partnership with the Global Process standards
- Coordinates delivery solutions with key partner and consumer groups, including Global Commodity team and BDPO
- Contributes to global strategies for mid/high touch operations processes, channels and delivery models
- Manages key partner and stakeholder relationships; collaborates to deliver leveraged solutions
- Participates in partner, executive and sponsor reviews
- Influences across organization, function and country boundaries to achieve agreed-to objectives.
- Consults with IP management team, consumes and stakeholders and provides guidance and assistance on resolving operations issues. |

Profile of Ideal Candidate :
Bachelor's (undergraduate) or Master's (graduate) degree or equivalent experience
Strong knowledge of procurement processes & systems
Sound planning and budget management skills
Project management, negotiation, contract management and interpersonal communication skills
Experienced in managing a team
Experience in project management in a high demanding environment.
