About the Job :
Job Purpose
To ensure that Company complies with statutory requirements for preparation of financial statements and meets its tax obligations in a timely and accurate manner.
Principal Accountabilities
- Ensure that tax accounting transactions are in line with Russian and US GAAP, Russian tax legislation:
- Compute and agree on a monthly basis all taxes payable by the company
- Provide timely and accurate input of tax transactions for the company’s monthly reporting cycle
- Monthly review trial balances
- Perform the analysis for the deferred tax calculation at the end of each quarter
- Perform regular reconciliation of relevant accounts with those of tax authorities and social funds
- Internal and External Reporting
- Liaise with external auditors on all matters of compliance with Russian GAAP
- Monitor the tax legislation and perform the analysis of changes in the legislation essential for the tax position. |

Profile of Ideal Candidate :
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
University degree in Finance and Accounting
- Minimum 2 years experience as Chief Accountant in an international environment. Professional knowledge of Russian GAAP. Basic knowledge of US GAAP rules.
- Excellent knowledge of Russian legislation (accounting and taxation)
- Excellent command of English and Russian- written and spoken
- PC literate. Experience with Windows, MS Excel, Lotus-123, SUN Account (desirable) |
