About the Job :
Our client, a technology start-up backed by a seasoned team of professionals, is seeking to recuirt a Web Developer. Working directly with on-site project manager as well as outsourced service providers like web designers, the Web Developer will be responsible for creating and modifying code that supports a number of business processes, including main web sites, business software, and database operations that support the Company operations. He/She will be coding mainly in PHP/MySQL environment but familiarity with VB/MS Access is also required.
Responsibilities include:
• Extensive PHP/MySQL coding for new projects or modifications in existing code.
• Comprehensive assistance during product development life cycle including design, code development, system integration, testing, documentation and code maintenance.
• Providing work estimates and deliver challenging, stable, and maintainable coding projects on schedule
Compensation: Dependent on profile and experience. However, the successful candidate can expect an attractive performance-linked bonus, plus a basic salary.

Profile of Ideal Candidate :
At least 2 years experience of focused web application development.
• Very strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML and JavaScript.
• Experience and familiarity with VB/MS Access.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent degree/experience/certification)
• Knowledge of Linux environment.
• Working knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Tools.
• Organization and detail-orientation, excellent oral and written communication skills.
Personal attributes:
• Ideal candidate would have a high level of intellectual ability, a structured and logical mind, great sense of curiosity, and incredible drive and energy.
• He/she would have an insatiable appetite for technology and related issues (particularly in the online domain).
• The candidate should ideally have blue-chip experience and training in a structured and professional environment.
• Entrepreneurial experience / working with a start-up a plus.
