The company is a leading recruitment consultancy headquartered in London and covering the key markets of Eastern Europe. We specialise in placing mid to senior level professionals across a range of functions and industry sectors.

About the Job :
Our client, a leading retail group, is looking for an in-house lawyer to provide in-house legal support for all areas of their operations.

Primary responsibilities will include reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial transaction contracts, including customer agreements for retail services, procurement agreements, lease of real property and rights-of-way/wayleaves and general claims/litigation management.

Additional responsibilities may include corporate compliance activities, support of mergers and acquisitions and employment related matters.

Profile of Ideal Candidate :
Qualifications / Experience required:

• Qualified attorney with 3 - 6 years experience.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Coming from a recognised company where you are already an in-house lawyer or from a good City or regional practice.
• Understanding of Middle East legal regimes.
• Fluency in English.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Business attitudes:

• Highly motivated, self starter.
• Able to work independently and manage large volumes of work to include a variety of commercial and corporate matters.
• Deal with members of the Company at all levels of the organisation.
• Prior retail experience would be highly advantageous
• Should be passionate about the Company, be open, honest and preserve integrity.
