The Role


The Role

Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
*Manage and supervise (in-house or outsourced) corporate income tax and VAT (ESL/Istat) filing/reporting of the businesses in the assigned countries: (e-compliance tool: update, supervise updates for these countries)
*Audit support in respect of the assigned countries
*Account reconciliation preparation in the assigned countries and reviews in respect of other European countries.
*Assistant of C&I Tax Compliance Manager in daily tax issues
*Support estimate cycle (w/ US HQ tax staff)
*Tax Holiday management in eligible countries
*Foreign Information Reporting (Annual FIR)
*DR48A Analysis of Deferred Income Taxes
*DR40A Analysis of Taxes Accrued and Income Taxes Paid
*DR4S Supplemental data to Other taxes Taxes Accrued
*Other US reporting info requests
*Launch and execute projects affecting compliance due to legislative changes
*Participate in projects led by other functions to ensure and maintain compliance

Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements:
*Graduated in School of Economics or School of Finance and Accounting and Certified Tax Advisor/Expert in a country.
*Have at least 2-3 years experience in the area of taxation (corporate income tax and VAT) at an industrial firm
*Must have English language knowledge and good English communication skills.
*Good user level knowledge of Excel is required
*Must be a team worker, who can also lead projects w/ minimum supervision

Desired:
*Having żbig4" working experience - as an additional - is an advantage.
*Having EU reporting experience, working in an EU taxation group in a company is an advantage too.
*Other language skills (French, Spanish, German, Italian) are appreciated.
*Knowledge of sytems like SAP, Oracle etc. is an advantage.
