Having recently acquired offices in Romania, the organisation is currently looking for an individual who is can speak good Romanian, to manage existing structural design projects for clients in Romania. The role will also involve you checking and creating design drawings, calculations and specifications, as well as managing the on-going project to ensure it is completed within time and budget. RequirementsRequirementsYou will need to have the ability to work alongside and liaise with Romanian clients, whilst be able to ensure that all work done by your team is carried out to British Quality Standards. You will be reporting to the Associate Director within the London branch, however it will be necessary for you to spend the majority of your working time in Romania to ensure that the existing large projects are managed effectively. You will be the main contact point for the London office, and therefore will need to be able to communicate effectively, providing in depth and correct reports on current projects. The company are currently willing to meet with any individual who has good UK structural design experience, and who can speak Romanian to a high standard. Who are the likely candidates? A likely candidate needs to have a good understanding of the principles of structure engineering, including the ability and experience of the detailed design of buildings structures. You will need to have a strong academic background and those who are chartered or who can show workable progression towards achieving chartered status will be favoured. You will need experience within UK consultancy and therefore have gained knowledge on using UK standards and codes. Previous experience in Project Management is preferred, as well as leading a team, including technicians and therefore the ability to understand AutoCAD is wanted. An ability to read and write well in Romanian is a must. What Skills do I need?
