Note: As a result of new contracts awarded, we require experienced Reservoir Navigation Engineers in this as well as various other locations across the Middle East Area.

Responsibilities

- Assume lead hand role after reasonable orientation period.
- Pro-actively enhance rig-site operation.
- Provide advice for all MWD/LWD operations.
- Liaise with Directional Drillers and other wellbore construction stakeholders.
- Liaise with customer representative to ensure smooth operation and understanding of requirements.
- Report Pre / Post job briefing as required.
- Monitor effective use of down hole and surface equipment to fully optimize the use of all equipment to enhance overall job efficiency; identify where and how the company can add value to the customers operation.
- Perform on-the-job training for new operators.
- Post well close outs where applicable.

Requirements

Education/Experience

- A Bachelor degree.
- Minimum of 3 years high level LWD experience.
- Experience with and knowledge of MWD/ LWD equipment and applications.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience of LWD and rotary steerable systems.
- Active role in HSE compliance.

Skills Requirement

- Good English communication skills. Additional language skill is a benefit.
