The RoleThe RoleResponsibilities: Assume lead hand role after reasonable orientation period. Pro-actively enhance rig-site operation. Provide advice for all MWD/LWD operations. Liaise with Directional Drillers and other wellbore construction stakeholders. Liaise with customer representative to ensure smooth operation and understanding of requirements. Report Pre / Post job briefing as required. Monitor effective use of down hole and surface equipment to fully optimize the use of all equipment to enhance overall job efficiency; identify where and how the company can add value to the customers operation. Perform on-the-job training for new operators. Post well close outs where applicable. RequirementsRequirementsRequirements: A Bachelor degree. Minimum of 3 years high level LWD experience. Experience with and knowledge of MWD/ LWD equipment and applications. Preference will be given to candidates with experience of LWD and rotary steerable systems. Active role in HSE compliance. Good English communication skills. Additional language skill is a benefit. Nurture Team Spirit. Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment. Keen desire to learn and face up to, then deal with, challenges. |
