The Role


The Role


The candidate will manage and coordinate all project related operations, associated reporting and communications with the entire supply chain including the Owner. Other responsibilities include: ensure policies and procedures are followed; reviews, changes and enhances established policies and procedures to improve current systems and responsible for the overall Scope, Budget Schedule and Quality of construction and client care. He/she will also be responsible for hiring and training new associates to manage field sites. Under the direction of the Program Manager, this candidate will oversee the day-to-day operations and supervise on-site construction to the completion of the project. The candidate will be responsible for:

a) Procurement

b) Creating and maintaining Master Project Schedule, Budget and Cash Flow Model

c) Creating Phasing & Logistics Plans for Each Project Component

d) Assist Owner with Review & Evaluation of Value Engineering Suggestions e. Perform Constructability Reviews

e) Provide consolidated Construction Cost Estimates

f) Provide Monthly Status Reports (Applies to All Phases)

g) Maintaining Accounts of Project Budget h. Maintain & Update Project Master Schedule

h) Coordination of Owner Provided Vendors, Subcontractors & Equipment

i) Weekly Construction Meetings

j) Evaluation & Negotiation of Change Orders

k) Review and Approve of Monthly Pay applications

l) enforcing All General Conditions of the Contract

m) Managing the R.F.I. Process

n) Managing the Submittal Process

o) Coordinate Test & Inspection Services

p) Project Close out process

q) Coordinate Phased Turnover of Systems

Candidate Requirements:

A talented and motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and knows what it takes to service client needs, with a minimum 10-12 years of work experience in the local Construction Industry in the area of HIGH RISE CONSTRUCTION. Candidate should have experience in the local AEC Industry, working knowledge of the principles and practices of construction management and well versed with the interdependencies of tasks and deliverables of the entire supply chain in a construction process. The job requires a comprehensive knowledge of engineering construction principles and practices including demonstrated project management skills, oral and written communication skills, and change management skills.

Education

Basic - Bachelor of Technology/Engineering (Civil), Bachelor of Architecture
PG - Master of Technology/Engineering, Master of Architecture
