Salary: Negoitable Start: ASAP Duration: Ongoing Role: Staff REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :Engineering /Technical Degree REQUIRED EXPERIENCE :Extensive Experience in Oil and Gas Safety Engineering DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS :MSC or equivalent in Safety Engineering DESIRED EXPERIENCE :Extensive Experience in Oil and Gas Safety Engineering Primary Role OBJECTIVE :Lead Risk Safety and Environmental Engineer DUTIES :All in accordance with the Company's Business Management System (BMS) 1.Responsible for delivery of an effective and timely integrated technical safety programme for a major project. 2.Assist and direct members of the Project RSE group in executing RSE engineering and assessment tasks in support of engineering projects. 3.Good team Player and team leader skills. Experienced in the role as a Lead Engineer with proven experience in leading large teams (> 10 engineers). 4.Familiar with the principles of HSE management issues during FEED and EPC phases. 5.Able to provide technical safety input to scopes of work, schedules and manhour estimates. 6.Able to chair HAZID workshops. An ability to chair HAZOP and/or Safety Integrity Level (SIL) workshops is desirable, but primary role on projects will be to ensure that these reviews are performed and followed up effectively and efficiently. 7.Understanding of environmental issues and environmental engineering activities relevant to oil and gas projects. 8.Excellent communication skills both within the RSE group and with other engineering disciplines, project managers and Clients. 9. Familiar with the principles, design and suitability of fire and gas detection systems, active and passive fire protection engineering, systems design and specifications, hazardous area classification, etc. 10.Familiar with QRA work and its influence and impact upon engineering design. |
RequirementsRequirementsDUTIES : All in accordance with the Company's Business Management System (BMS) 1.Experience of Russian and/or Kazakh standards and approval processes, either in Russia or in the Former Soviet Union. 2.Familiar with Consequence modelling software (PHAST, Cirrus etc). An understanding of the basic principles of reliability and availability assessments. 3.Familiar with the preparation of Design and Operational Safety Cases on the UK continental shelf and abroad. 4.Able to use typical office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint. 5.Able to travel within UK and for short trips overseas in support of project work. |
