The RoleThe RoleOur client is a leading supplier of timber and composite windows and doors for both the commercial and domestic markets in Ireland. A commitment to total product quality and excellence has led to increased demand for our products and we have embarked on an ambitious expansion plan for our technical team. Responsibilities include reviewing tender documentation and technical drawings on large scale developments and producing window/door schedules, producing quotations and order confirmations. Managing variation process and providing technical advice to colleagues and customers alike. The role offers great variety and responsibility and has potential to grow to a senior management level. |
RequirementsRequirementsThis is an ideal opportunity for individuals who would like to work within a dynamic, professional organization that offers an excellent working condition and promotes team-work, enjoyment and a good work-life balance. Education & Experience Required: Experienced Architectural Technician/Estimator with ideally a minimum of 3/4years experience. Full understanding of tender and contractual documentation. Candidates will be proficient in MS Excel and AutoCAD, and have a thorough understanding of working drawings and determine products required for ordering. Establishing and integrating technical information with a working knowledge of building regulations. Highly organized individual capable of prioritizing their own work load. A positive service driven attitude with good communication skills is essential with client interface. Excellent spoken English as troubleshooting and dealing with Client issues is an integral part of the role; “the ability to think on your feet” This position requires an action-orientated individual who works well under pressure and strives to reach and maintain set deadlines. |
