Environmental Consultant
Aberdeen

Our client provides specialist environmental services to organisations and governments based around the world. Theyhave an unparalleled depth of knowledge and experience in their field. As well as providing an international emergency response service to environmental incidents, they offer a range of consultancy services to their clients mostly operating in the oil industry, and are seeking to expand their team working in this field.

You will work as part of a professional, multi-disciplinary team handling projects for UK and overseas based customers in areas such as environmental contingency planning; modelling; simulation exercises; auditing (of plans, capabilities, facilities etc.) and other environmental services. Key responsibilities will include:

· The delivery of projects and services to time and to budget.
· Identifying and assisting with the conversion of new business opportunities.
· Contributing to the development of new consultancy products and services.
· Assisting in the preparation and delivery of internal ad externaltraining courses.

Requirements


Requirements

· Degree level qualification, ideally backed by practical experience in areas such as pollution control, land/water remediation, emergency planning, environmental engineering, oil exploration, oil and gas (O&G) etc.
· Minimum of two year's successful delivery in a professional customer facing, consultancy or related business development role.
· Strong interpersonal, project management, and presentation skills.
· Well developed team-working skills.
· Fluency in either Russian, French or Spanish would be advantageous but is not essential.
· Commercially astute.
