The RoleThe RoleOur clients Energy group is expanding, has seen rapid growth over the last 2 years, and has a strong pipeline of new issuers to work with in EMEA and existing issuers in the UK. The successful candidates will report to the Team Head for the Energy and Utilities . Our client has two openings within the Energy and Utilities team at this leading Financial Services company. The candidate will take a proactive lead analytical responsibility for an existing portfolio of Energy, Oil and Gas and Utilities corporate issuers. He/She will liaise with senior executives within the industry and take responsibility for these important sectors within the region. RequirementsRequirementsThe ideal candidates should have: • Strong knowledge of the energy, oil and gas and utilities industry, with a good credit risk perspective for energy, and particularly regulated utilities companies. • Extensive experience in a credit or execution role within a commercial or investment bank, or financial institution • Some experience of structured / project finance would be an advantage • Excellent written and verbal communications skills • A financial based professional qualification (e.g. MBA / ACA / CIMA / CFA) • Financial modelling skills. • Russian language skills an advantage. |
