The RoleThe RoleFounded in February 2006, Amana Pipeline Construction LLC was established to cater for the turnkey construction of District Cooling, Commercial and Military Aviation and Oil & Gas systems in the United Arab Emirates and the GCC. Its interest in district cooling lies in the supply, construction and commissioning of District Cooling Distribution piping systems including all civil and mechanical works. As for its activity in the construction of Aviation Fueling Systems, its services range from Front-end engineering through to commissioning and handover of Commercial and military aircraft refueling systems and to the construction of fuel terminals and storage installations for major airports. The company’s activities include service lines coring and ditching contracting, steel construction contracting, water pipelines and station contracting, oil and natural gas pipelines contracting, desalination plants contracting, specialized piping and related fitting contracting. Amana Pipeline Construction falls under the Umbrella of the Amana Group of Companies - leaders in the turnkey construction of steel structures and buildings since 1993. The Amana Group has an established reputation as a competent and efficient contractor in fast track Design - Build of Industrial, Commercial and Institutional projects in the UAE and regional countries and holds an ISO 9001:2000 certification. Candidate's background must be either Mechanical or Process Engineering with hands-on Experience in Precommissioning /Commissioning of Fuel Systems including Storage Tanks, Pipe Works and Pumps, & Control Systems. The Position shall oversee the Precommissioning/ Commissioning Scheme, able to supervise commissioning team and coordinate Precommissioning / Commissioning activities on site and with Client representatives. The responsibilities shall include mainly: Reviewing Specifications, Drawings and Operating Philosophy, Precommissioning /Commissioning Procedures and Reporting Tools. Managing the execution of Precommissioning/Commissioning activities with due consideration for safety, technical quality, cost and smooth transition.
