The RoleThe RoleWe are looking for a Senior Boiler Mechanical Engineer |
RequirementsRequirementsMechanical engineer with hands on experience in the design of hot structures associated with large utility power boilers. This will include experience in the design of: • Boiler sling components • Suspension deck components • Framing/buckstays components • Calculating boiler movements • Flues & Ducts They will have experience of material selection and suitable structural codes to meet the stringent conditions for these components. Knowledge & experience of boiler pressure part design to ASME standards would be also be an advantage. • Candidates must have a relevant engineering degree or chartered status. • A minimum of 5 -10 years “front end” or conceptual design experience of power related plant (fossil fuel plant technology highly desirable) • A steady career history and a desire to benefit from the long-term career opportunity at Mitsui Babcock |
